Position description
The Department of History at Mount Allison invites applications for a part-time stipendiary appointment for the Winter 2026 term to teach Hist 4441 Modern Canadian History. This seminar investigates selected topics in Modern Canadian History from the nineteenth century to the present. This course will be offered each Thursday 2:30 p.m. to 5:20 p.m. in person on the 91¿´Æ¬ campus in Sackville, New Brunswick. The course is capped at 12 students.
Candidates should have or be near completion of a PhD in History and have prior teaching experience at the undergraduate level. A letter of application, a curriculum vitae, and the names and contact information of three references should be submitted in one PDF file to:
