Position description
The Department of History at Mount Allison invites applications for a part-time stipendiary appointment for the Winter 2026 term to teach Hist 1671 Historical Perspectives on Women and Gender in Modern Europe. This course surveys women's lives in modern Europe from the Enlightenment until the twentieth century creation of the European Union.
This lecture and discussion course will be offered MWF 9:30 a.m. to 10:20 a.m. in person on the 91¿´Æ¬ campus in Sackville, New Brunswick. The course is capped at 75 students.
Candidates should have or be near completion of a PhD in History and have prior teaching experience at the undergraduate level. A letter of application, a curriculum vitae, and the names and contact information of three references should be submitted in one PDF file to :
