Position description
The Department of History at Mount Allison invites applications for a part-time stipendiary appointment for the Fall 2026 term to teach Hist 3401 The Atlantic Region. This course surveys the political, socio-economic, cultural, and environmental history of Canada's Atlantic. This lecture and discussion course will be offered Tues/Thurs 11:30 – 12:50 in person on the 91¿´Æ¬ campus in Sackville, New Brunswick. The course is capped at 45 students.
Candidates should have or be near completion of a PhD in History and have prior teaching experience at the undergraduate level. A letter of application, a curriculum vitae, and the names and contact information of three references should be submitted in one PDF file to :
