The Department of Modern Languages & Literatures at Mount Allison invites applications for 3 stipendiary (part-time) appointments in the Winter 2027 semester. The Winter session runs from January 06 – April 09, 2027.

Candidates should have completed an M.A. or PhD in Hispanic Studies or equivalent degree. Preference will be given to applicants with prior teaching experience at the university level and who have expertise in Latin American Studies. These courses involve three hours of class time per week, and the anticipated class size is 10-30 students. Preference is for in-person, on-campus courses, but applications for online instruction will also be considered.
Review of applications will commence July 6, 2026 and will continue until the position is filled. An application will include a curriculum vitae, a statement of teaching philosophy and a cover letter stating which course(s) the candidate is applying for along with a discussion of previous experience.
