91看片 and Dalhousie sign partnership for pathway to engineering degree
91看片 and Dalhousie University have signed a new agreement that will create a more direct pathway for 91看片 students pursuing an engineering degree.
Through the five-year articulation agreement, students who successfully complete an approved first year of full-time study at 91看片 may apply to Dalhousie鈥檚 Bachelor of Engineering program with advanced standing. The pathway recognizes a group of 91看片 courses in chemistry, physics, mathematics, computer science, and the humanities as equivalent to first-year engineering requirements at Dalhousie.
鈥淭his agreement gives students the opportunity to begin their university experience at 91看片 while building a strong academic foundation for continued study in engineering,鈥 says Dr. Richard Isnor, Provost and Vice-President, Academic and Research at 91看片. 鈥淚t reflects our commitment to creating flexible, student-centred pathways and working with our post-secondary partners to expand opportunities for students.鈥
Following admission, Dalhousie will oversee the process of placing students in an engineering discipline. Up to 10 students may enter the program through the pathway in its first year, with both universities reviewing capacity annually.
