Use this form to appeal your placement on academic suspension or dismissal.

Please note

Students who have been placed on academic suspension or dismissal are encouraged to avail themselves of the academic standing appeal process if there are any extenuating circumstances which might justify reconsideration of their academic standing assessment.
The academic standing appeal form must be submitted by Friday, June 19, 2026.
Supporting documentation must reach the Registrar’s Office, to the attention of the Registrar and secretary of the Admissions and Re-admissions Committee, by Friday, June 19, 2026. Documentation may be e-mailed to registrar@mta.ca.
This is a firm deadline by which all appeals and supporting documentation must be received. Please note that academic standing appeal forms received after June 19 will not be considered.
Written notification of the results of appeals will be sent via e-mail by June 30, 2026.
